Anni and I are so excited to announce we are running a 2 day Mosaicing workshop with the The ever so talented Jan Kilpatrick of Wildtiles , www.wildtiles.co.uk. on Wed 6th - Thu 7th June . Using a variety of cutting techniques and  a vast array of materials from tiles to tea cups you will produce a unique piece of ceramic art.  You will be able to interpret your ideas in a relaxed ,creative and supportive atmosphere.This 2 day course is suitable for beginners, improvers and adventurer's !..

Decopatch, painting with paper, such a lovely way to lose yourself for an hour or two. Totally engrossing and a beautiful end result for all. We just love, love, love it !

Wet felting starts off looking like bits of coloured wool, but by the time you have finished it will have been transformed into a piece of jewellery, usually a  brooch created in the shape of your choice. Flowers and hearts are popular. Great fun!

Mosaicing - Learn the basics of mosaicing and create a mini masterpiece using tiles, glass and old crockery. The finished result after grouting looks amazing and you can honestly say, "I made that!"

 Looking for something to do that's a bit different? Or, on those rainy days you can now drop in to our pottery painting , decopatch and craft studio with no need to book. We have moved the front shop around a bit and now have a much bigger workshop area. Why not pop in and see for yourself. We recommend bookings for Birthday parties and larger groups.

 We now have lots of the newly designed papers in. Remember, you can decopatch almost anything. It's especially good for make do, mending or revamping old or dull furniture. Above is an example of a bedside cabinet and lampshade base we decorated using a few different papers.

We were pleased to see some of our Decopatch samples being used on Kirsty's hand made programme last year.

Decopatch is proving still to be very popular. Using the most fabulous French designed papers, a bit of glue and a little imagination (well, even this isn't strictly needed as Decopatching really is that easy) you can almost decorate anything. From ready made papier mache blank animals, mannequins, words & letters to what's especially popular in these money saving times, the revamping and bringing new life to old furniture, mirrors & lamps. Dare we say that even our bikes and toilet seat are decopatched. Yes, we at Damselfly have gone a bit decopatching mad!
