Hello 2012! 

We have got some fantastic workshops and offers coming up over the next few months! For starters, we have our regular papercraft and dressmaking workshops every Monday with the two Annies! We also have a veritable wealth of classes running on Wednesdays and Thursdays throughout January and February - including: felting, fabric corsages, applique patches, stamped embroidery and mosaicing! We are also having a super duper sale on all of our gorgeous Clarity stamps - with some up to 50% off! Pop in and take a gander at our wonderful selection and grab a bargain before they're all gone!

In addition to this, we are hoping to start up Saturday afternoon craft and chatter sessions - the sessions would cost £5 per head with expert advice from the fabulous Anni and Yvonne included!  Looking for something to do that's a bit different or on those rainy days .. you can now drop in to our Pottery painting , decopatch and craft studio with no need to book .. We have moved the front shop around a bit and now have a much bigger workshop area.. .  why not pop in and see for yourself....(   We recommend bookings for Birthday parties and larger groups)

We are loving The Craft Stamper these days, its full of fabulous ideas for stamping and mixed media projects which are sure to inspire you ... this mixed media canvas is a project from the magazine using Stampotique monster stamps...

 Our Glasgow Stamps are very adaptable and can truly be used for all occasions .. even for Valentines .

 We now have lots of the newly designed papers in ....Remember you can decopatch almost anything, its especially good for make do and mend and revamping old or dull furniture.. Below is an example of a bedside cabinet and lampshade base we decorated using a few different papers.

We were pleased to see some of our Decopatch samples being used on Kirsty's hand made programme last year.

Decopatch.. is proving to still be very popular.. and using the most fabulous french designed papers a bit of glue and a little imagination.. (well even this isn''t strictly needed as Decopatching really is this easy) you can almost decorate anything from ready made papier mache blank animals, mannequins, words, letters to what''s especially popular in these money saving times, the revamping and bringing new life to old furniture, mirrors, lamps.. and dare we say it even our bikes and toilet seat... ( yes, we at Damselfly have gone a bit decopatching mad )
